Hey guys!

How are you guys doing? This week was great. I loved it so much. We had transfers On Wednesday and I got a new companion! His name is Elder Barboza and he´s one of the three elders in the mission that are from Peru. It´s really nice because he treats me like a real person. So I am really excited about that. He kind of has a hard time getting up in the mornings but he´s a good guy.

Something else that is pretty notable is that Elder Ronfeld who was my step dad in Canquixaja is now the new assistant! I didn´t really appreciate him at the time as much as I should have but he is a really, really great guy and he will make a great assistant. Cruz wasn´t able to get her papers because the people that she needed to obtain her birth certificate again need to be where she is from and she said that they weren´t going to be able to come until today. So today she should be able to get her papers and so we might be able to have the wedding and baptism this coming week. And we found this other person named Esperanza and she is really great too. We have a baptismal date with her for the 14th and her daughter (also named Esperanza) came to church yesterday and so we are going to start teaching her too.

And the interviews with the president didn´t happen. They were originally scheduled for Tuesday but then the assistant called and postponed them for Friday because pres had to prep for the change conferences and so I came on Friday but the hermanas were all there getting interviewed and since hermanas have a higher priority than elders, (which is how it should be) I got pushed back until today. But President already called me (personally, even!) and told me that he is going to interview me today after internet with lunch and everything! I am having lunch with the president! So I am pretty excited about that.

Right now with the changes in the ward because of the changes and everything, it is kind of frustrating because we don´t really know what to do because it is just really uncoordinated and kind of frustrating but we´ll figure that all out.

And I got sunburned this week too! Because of interviews that we had on Friday night and the president being busy, we got driven home by the assistants (Ronfeldt) and we got home at around 11:30 which means that nobody was able to tell us anything so the other companionship in the ward called us at 7 and told us that we had to be in the chapel at 8 for some stake primary activity called "Splash." So I forgot to put on sunscreen because we had to be at the chapel at 8 and so, consequently, I got a little bit burned. But don´t worry about it. I´m already almost completely cured.

And thanks for the advice Mom. I will try more this week to lean more on the Lord and try to follow the Spirit and stay close to it better.Thank you guys for your prayers! They help a lot.

Love, Elder Froelich
