Hey guys! How are you guys doing?

With the temple open house there is some curiosity but not a whole lot. Elder Fuentes came from Xela and he said that up there that there is a huge buzz about the temple and everything but in Huehue, nobody really sees or knows about it. But we are trying to help the ward so that they can invite all of their friends. The open house will be from the 11th to the 26th. And we are really excited about it.

This week was pretty cool too. There is this girl that we ran into contacting named Claire who is from the states but is here for peace corp. And we ran into her a couple of times but on Monday, right after I wrote to you guys, we ran into each other again and, long story short, I gave her a Book of Mormon! It was in Spanish but she knows Spanish really well so it shouldn't be a problem. When I gave it to her, she told me "I had been looking for a book in Spanish to read!" But she was totally prepared for the message and we gave it to her! And I am really excited to have been a tool in God´s hands. So that was fun.

Also, I was thinking this week and I came up with this:

If you let your companion or your circumstances govern your feelings, you are going to be upset all of the time. The only way that you are going to be able to be happy is by deciding to be happy, getting a happiness backbone. Also, we sometimes allow our so-called realism or efforts to be sincere, rob us of our faith in God and in his infinite power. Don´t let that happen. Never lose your faith.

Also, I was talking to Orlando and he is one of the most straightforward people that I have ever met. And he told me that I was one of the happiest missionaries that he has ever known and that my happiness is contagious and makes other people want to be around me and that is why he is giving us so many references.

AHH! I had more stories that I want to tell you but I don´t have any more time.

I love you guys!

Thanks for your prayers!

Love,

Elder Froelich
